Job Summary
ELS Language Centres Malaysia is seeking a proactive and creative Assistant Manager for Digital Marketing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our outsourced digital marketing agency and coordinate with students and centres to regularly generate engaging content for all digital platforms, including social media sites like TikTok, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu (XHS). This role is perfect for someone with a passion for digital marketing and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of ELS.
Job Duties
Digital Agency Coordination:
- Collaborate with our external digital marketing agency and ensure they are fully aligned with ELS’ marketing strategy and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the agency's performance and adherence to KPIs and timelines.
- Provide feedback and guidance to the agency to optimise campaigns and initiatives.
Content Generation and Management:
- Collaborate with students, teachers, and centre staff to generate engaging and relevant content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and other digital platforms.
- Plan and implement a content calendar that aligns with ELS’ marketing goals and key events.
- Ensure all content adheres to ELS’ brand guidelines and quality standards.
Social Media Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of ELS’s social media profiles, including TikTok, Douyin, Xiaohongshu (XHS), Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and grow followers.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly to enhance community engagement.
Digital Campaigns and Analytics:
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, PPC, SEO, and content marketing.
- Track and analyse campaign performance using digital analytics tools, providing regular reports and insights to the Head of Marketing.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with the marketing team to support broader marketing initiatives and events.
- Provide digital marketing support to different ELS centres to help them achieve local marketing objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing to ensure ELS remains at the forefront of the industry.
Other Duties
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing or a related role.
Personal Characteristics
Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including social media, content marketing, SEO, and PPC.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
• Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with platforms like TikTok, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu (XHS) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
